Checked Baggage Allowance

If the passengers are traveling from/to central, North, and South America, then they are allowed two checked bags as long as each bag follow the below requirements:-

  • Maximum dimensions need to be around 62 linear inches/157 CM
  • Approx weight of the checked baggage: 70lb

However, if the passenger is travelling from/to any destination other than the Americas, then they have to follow these below-listed requirements:-

Cathay Pacific Airline Excess Baggage Fees

The excess baggage limit of the Cathay Pacific depends on the itinerary or zone the passenger is travelling from. Once your luggage items reaches its maximum limits on some of the routes or when you have exceeded the baggage limit, then you have to pay extra baggage fees.   • Each baby should be atleast of six months old and be flying with the infant in the car seat.

According to the Cathay Pacific Baggage Policy, the luggage system is divided according to cabin classes. For starters, the economy class passengers can bring two bags each bag weighing not more than 30 kg. The same rule applies for both premium economy as well as business class passengers.
